Welcome back
Hello everyone, welcome back to school. I hope you are ready for lots more fun in FS2.
We are now half way through our time together, time is going fast.
Here are a few photos of the activities in our areas this week. After a lot of interest in dragons last term, we decided to spend some time finding out about 'Castles, dragons, knights and princesses'
If you have any suitable books we can borrow, we promise to look after them.
Ask your child about the challenges in their 'Challenge Book' some of them can be seen in the photos above.

What a fabulous week of fun!!
We have come to the end of our week learning about Chinese New Year. The children have written Chinese numerals in red sand, written a wish, made dragons and tasted some noodles.
These two friends are retelling the story of the Chinese Zodiac. The story is called "The Great Race"

Learning how to order things by length
Look at this tricky challenge some of the children tackled this week. We are learning about the words long, tall and short. The children in this photo worked with Mrs Horn to order the pipes and tubes.
Gold Book
Jasmine is such a pleasant and kind member of FS2, she shares the resources and helps others when they are in need.
Lillie is a very motivated member of class. She is enjoying the challenges around the classroom and tackles them positively.

The new Finger Gym challenge
This week the Finger Gym has 3 levels of challenge. The children are getting used to the words; easiest, ok and tricky. They decide which level they will start with and hopefully challenge themselves to move onto the next one.
